“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

—Winston Churchill

Help guide the next generation of hunters while exploring the great outdoors with your dogs by your side! It's more than just a day in the wilderness—it's about passing on skills, values, and a love for nature.

The Friends of the Poynette Game Farm (FPGF)

This 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the support of outdoor programs offered by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources – State Game Farm in Poynette, Wisconsin. The future of hunting, especially small game hunting, depends on getting youth and novice hunters paired with an experienced mentor. We also believe a well-trained hunting dog is a valuable conservation tool and an essential element to the overall hunting experience.

How can you help FPGF:

  • Join the organization!

  • Follow and Like them on Facebook

  • Attend and support their annual Vic Connors Memorial Shoot held in July of each year

  • Attend their monthly meetings and participate in their training

  • Dog Handlers and Dog Demonstrations are needed at many Learn To Hunt events

MOHEE is the non-profit conservation organization presented by The Outdoor Heritage Education Center.  This annual free field trip for 4th to 7th graders grades is the perfect opportunity to extend learning and take learning outdoors before the school year comes to an end.

MOHEE is our opportunity as adults to ensure today’s children and tomorrow’s adults have amazing memories and support the outdoors, hunting/fishing, and conservation efforts that are so important to our sport and dog training.
